15. Day at sea – Magnificent sailing to Westwind

Dear Readers,

We are making good progress. Now there are only 750 Miles to Horta
the Azores, these are 6-7 Days, if all goes well and we wind
not leaving. To Flores, one of the first islands of the Azores group,
there are even only barely 620 Miles. Flores is about 130
Miles north west of Horta and accurately in our current
Heading Line. From there we should be well on our current Azores island destination
to push. We are excited, what the weather.

Currently really is the most marvelous sailing weather – about 10 Knots of wind from
West, also 3-4 Winds, providing us with steady 5,5 – 6 Node of
East push. The course line of the last days is a straight line –
in contrast to the confused krickelei first 10 Days, when we almost
permanent headwind.

Otherwise, not much is passert: We are always somewhere on deck in
the sun, I have our book (ein Clive-Cussler-Roman) yesterday as
first completed, Egi is currently on the last 50 Pages. Last night
I got our last Dosenkuh slaughtered and a tasty chili
made it. How is it, that really everything is always on board
excellent taste?!

As far from out here. Position today is 39 01.9 degrees' N, 044
35.9 degrees' In. The hour period is 110 Miles.

Regards!

Your John
