General: “Maverick too” is a series of type boat contest 33. It was designed by the father of the Flying Dutchman, Uus Essen, of the ship recorded specifically for the then new IOR formula. The YACHT wrote in issue 19/70: “The underwater hull has typical features of Sparkman & Stephens designs on. You should appeal sailors, who want a fast boat regatta with the greatest possible comfort below deck.”
