A busy summer

Dear Readers,

this year I got my longest vacation ever. Four weeks. The original plan was, with “Maverick” to bolt to Scotland and thus to subject the old lady a little hardness test. And especially: Sail right finally. A few nights by. Feel the freedom of the open sea.

Went there but lost a lot of work on the boat in the spring, because I worked for the Delius Klasing publishing a book, became apparent in May, I would spend part of the holiday in the boat Warehouse. Are now 4 Weeks vacation to - and up to two days sailing on Lake Müritz in Mecklenburg I have only worked.

The first two weeks, six hours a day on the boat. But when the ambient temperature exceeds 30 Grad waren es oft fast 40 Grad in der Halle.

This allowed us to work much more thoroughly and inspect the mats again on commutations and air pockets.

The second half of the holiday has arrived Cati then a summer job, because between their study and an internship, she starts in September, missing one months rent in cash. So I had a big construction site for myself. Clear, that everything takes much longer. In this case, the mixing of the trowel, then apply, then re-running it again, usw. Therefore, while the site was also first be, was able to help my father on the following weekend. Instead, it has gone a little ahead at home. Well, to have two sites.

Now available and much, much grinding before. Everything by hand with a long sanding board, because the machine only skin you are kinks in the underwater hull.

“Maverick” so this will remain year on land. There goes after the grinding and the coating with a pension equal to the osmotic painting of hull structure and.

Here are a few photos.
