Spoilt for choice

Dear Readers,

on Catis last blog entry we have received numerous emails back. Thank you for the many words of encouragement and good advice!

Some have also asked, what kind of ship we are looking for now. We can pretty much circling: Between a 31 and 34 Foot. Unsere Contest 33 had actually come from the perfect size. This is something we look back. From Route ago, to me floating around in my head, probably would be most suitable steel or aluminum. Aluminum is too expensive, Steel intensive care for very much - I'm sure, that the route could be overcome with a well built fiberglass boat. The targeted size is perfect for a two-man crew to sail and is also good one-handed.

In the last six months we got together a lot of equipment purchased or donated, the fits for a boat of this size. The windvane functioned in the Contest 33 just excellent, Our gift bekommene Eberspächer heater is precisely dimensioned for a boat of this size and a trysail and boat, who have left us a very nice person, fit exactly on a boat of this size. Here again many thanks to all the kind supporters! 🙂

Our Bordkuh find the new boat pretty cool!

The trysail is a dream in red.

Pity, that the great sailing is so rare … 😉

Our wind-Pacific pilot steered me in the past year non-stop from Holland to Glückstadt. I can not wait, to reattach it to the next boat.
