long here, nothing has happened. For us nothing. At least, nothing spectacular. Cati learns and learns and learns. Now there are only three weeks left until their final examination. Immediately afterwards, we will then travel to Kopperby and set sail. From this … Unfortunately, not yet in a very long journey, But at least for three weeks. First of all well again two or three days non-stop and then we'll see, where it is blowing.

The roles are so clearly at the moment: Cati and I learned screw on boat, because to do so is a little but still. Much small stuff: Oil change, Elektroreparaturen, new water lines and water pump, … There are still some equipment installed, which is the old ship on. In particular, the autopilot, Depth sounder and log. The latter probably only in winter storage.

I am particularly pleased, that tomorrow I can take a trip to Holland. I can buy for a few hundred euros a one year old mainsail of a sister ship. This makes the 40 Year-old replaced and we are again completely up-to-date. The genoa is already brand new. Now I need to get somewhere, but also a mainsail dress, so the new one is protected. When old it did not make me itch.

Some leaks to be eliminated even. On two handrails is dripping into the cabin, also through the pre-Lukan. There would be no final solution resealed, because the hatch is finally even 40 Years old. So I ordered a new. Last weekend it rained in torrents, I could not install it. But I'll do that this weekend and I'm looking forward to it 🙂
